OFFICE PROJECT 1

Our client has owned this office building for years and constantly thought of setting it up again but kept putting it off because he didn't want to rush decisions as its easy to make mistakes and it will cost in the long run. We setting up shop right beside his present office was like a breath of relief for our client. His words "i just want a good office space where i can relax and start my writing ." (FYI- He wants to start writing again, So watch for that next best seller..........Might just be our client)bearing that in mind we embarked on this fun journey of refining the space.

Images of the proposed office space:

The space was in good shape and didn't need restructuring or alterations to the form..
And now the look After...

The furniture pieces were bought from Bedmate furniture, but the client already bought the center rug and coffee table he insisted on using in his space. [still came out cozy though]. I totally adore the center piece decorative. Wooden window blinds were used instead of drapes [though if you want to try drapes instead of blinds you can go for a dark plain drape, as it wards off light effectively as well. ]

The wallpaper was mixed, we had one roll of the green and white leafy wallpaper and 3 rolls of green and gold dust wallpaper {you might not be able to make out the details of the wall paper through the picture.}. We used green here because the client wanted a tranquil environment and green give that feeling of tranquility and peace. The walls were kept neutral [cream] to enable it blend with the wall paper.

The wood flooring used was a 10mm mocha fine line flooring, as as you know we had to keep it simple there as well, so as not to distract our client .

The flower vase was kept big because a small or medium sized one wouldn't fit quite well into the space, the bolder the better. The kitchenette, micro wave, water dispenser and mini fridge were placed for our client to be able to eat, drink and have refreshments in is office.

Our best feature definitely has to be the wall mirror, it just adds a little whimsy to the space and as usual it doubles as a wall decorative as well. We were lucky to have found this piece.

This part of the wardrobe was open so we turned it into an open shelve nit for books only though, but for photo frames and decorative [...............see double function]

I hope you enjoyed this post, you can achieve this as well............... Please drop your comment and questions.....
